People ask... "What's with the name?  Why Celtic Outdoor?"

" I am the last of my line of O'Neill men. Before me, came coal miners and school teachers, bartenders and baseball players.  My grandfather was one of baseball's famous O'Neill Brothers. He and three siblings represented the only time that four brothers have ever played at the same time in baseball's Major League .

By "tipping my hat" and calling the company Celtic Outdoor, LLC, I chose to honor those folks that sacrificed everything to come to America in the late 1800s, so that I might have all the opportunities I enjoy today. I come from a long line of hard working, rowdy, and loyal people. I think they'd like the name." -Clark O'Neill

About Us

Clark was raised in Bucks County in Eastern Pennsylvania, just three miles north of where George Washington crossed the Delaware River. He came to North Carolina to attend Belmont Abbey College. There he met his wife Susan, and the two live just outside Charlotte, NC. They share a small farm with pair of horses, a miniature pony, several chickens and an extremely spoiled Irish Setter.
